We currently have 2 sizes:
Mini: holds 15ml, suitable for first-timer, people who never gave birth, or normal blood flow.
Regular: hold 25 ml, suitable for people who had given birth, or people who have high blood flow.

Sometimes Menstrual Cup would look a little bit intimidating to use, but remember our vagina is made from muscle too so it could enlarge and shrink just like any other muscle. And our Girlfriend Menstrual Cup is made from a very soft, flexible, and medical-grade silicone so and will mold to your shape. If it is worn correctly, you won’t feel a thing!

Tips: You can also use lubricants to help with insertion.

Fold your cup (go see our brochure to see how to fold), and then insert it rim-first into your vagina. You can also check our Tutorial Videos to get more thorough information! If it’s your first time, don’t forget to relax your body and try to explore many styles and find the most fit one for you!

Go right ahead! Make sure you get a lubricant that’s water-based and safe for internal use. Please don’t use anything oil-based as that will degrade the silicone over time.

Once worn, check that your cup has fully opened by running a finger around its base and rotating it slightly. It should feel smooth and round.

Okay first of all let’s calm ourselves. Try to relax and get into a comfortable position. For first-timers, you may also want to insert and remove your cup in the shower. Practice makes perfect, but if you have an urgent cup SOS, reach out to us and we’ll help you through it!

That’s a common first-timer concern, but don’t worry, your cup cannot get lost inside you. When inserted correctly, it sits snugly in your vagina just below your cervix – which makes it anatomically impossible for your cup to pass through! Don’t worry, we’ve all been there. Stay relaxed so that your vaginal muscles don’t tense up. You can remove it in a squatting position and pinch the base of the Girlfriend Menstrual Cup and gently shift the cup from side to side. Then pull down the step downwards and angle it slightly to avoid spilling! Still not working? It’s okay, take a break and try to relax more!

When inserted correctly, your cup will pop open and create a suction seal inside your cervix, which helps to prevent leaks. However, accidents do happen. If you encounter frequent leaks, you may have to experiment with different folding techniques or angles, or check that the cup has fully opened!

Messes can happen, especially when you’re a first-timer. Getting a bit of blood on your fingers can be expected, but using a cup is really easy once you get used to it. To help prevent spillage, remove the cup slowly and keep it in an upright position when you pull it out. You can also start by inserting and removing your cup in the toilet to minimize the mess you can make while inserting/removing the cup.

Girlfriend Menstrual Cup can be worn for up to 8 hours. Depending on your flow, you may have to empty it 3-4 times a day.

Always make sure that you insert and remove your cup with clean hands. If you don’t have easy access to a sink, you can rinse your cup with Boyfriend Wet Wipes too!

Rinse your cup with water and or with a mild soap that’s fragrance-free, oil-free, and pH-balanced. Also check that the air holes are clear by rubbing the cup between your hands and squeezing it so that water passes through the holes. A toothpick could come in handy to unclog any residue.

Always sanitize your cup after each cycle to keep it clean and ready for future use. You can do it by running it through clean water or wipe with our Boyfriend Wet Wipes!

Silicone may become discolored over time, but your cup will still be good to use. To prevent discoloration, rinse your cup first with cold water before continuing the cleaning process.

Unlike other period products, cups are pretty much odor-free as your blood won’t come into contact with air. If you catch a whiff of something iffy, leave your cup to dry in direct sunlight!

Always store it in a breathable container. We recommend to store it in the Travel Case!

Yes! We really Girlfriend Menstrual Cup because it makes us comfortable to do our activities and it never feels held back by your period again. Run, swim, or do an extreme sport – Girlfriend Menstrual Cup would never hold you back!

Yes, you can! But it’s affects your urine flow, you can remove and reinsert it.

Nope, please remove it before you get intimate. The cup is also not a contraceptive nor will it protect you against sexually transmitted diseases.

Yes, you can! But we recommend to consult it with your obgyn just in case if you need to make an adjustment.

It’s possible to get a TSS but highly unlikely. TSS is a rare but serious disease that may cause death, and it’s important that you seek medical help immediately if you experience any of these symptoms: sudden high fever, vomiting, diarrhea, a rash resembling sunburn, dizziness, muscle pain, or fainting. Avoid using your cup if you’re aware of any internal abrasions or wounds that you may have, as TSS can occur when toxins enter your bloodstream.
